Less bustle, more space by the sea

Grzybowo is a picturesque village located within a Protected Landscape Area. Surrounded by dense forests and numerous cycle routes, it offers ideal conditions for year-round relaxation – both for those seeking peace by the sea and for enthusiasts of active leisure in nature.

A wide beach and treasures of the Baltic

Fine white sand and a wide beach are hallmarks of Grzybowo. The gently sloping shoreline is perfect for swimming and long walks to the soothing sound of the waves. Grzybowo Bay is also known for amber, which is easiest to find after stronger winds. It is a place where nature creates ideal conditions for relaxation.

Dunes and pine forests

Grzybowo’s coastal landscape combines white dunes and dense pine forests, creating a soothing green enclave. Thanks to its peat-rich ground, the “Dunes between Dźwirzyno and Grzybowo” nature reserve is distinguished by rare vegetation and unique bird species. It is ideal for those who enjoy woodland walks and resting in the shade of the trees.

Hanseatic Coastal Route

Grzybowo is an excellent base for cycling trips. The Hanseatic Coastal Route – part of international EuroVelo 10 – runs through the area, together with the local “Towards the Sun” and “Storks’ Nests” routes, offering a unique way to explore the coastal landscape. At Baltic Season SPA Apartments, we support active leisure by offering electric, trekking, mountain and children’s bikes for hire, along with accessories such as helmets, child seats and trailers. Guests travelling with their own bikes can use a monitored bicycle shelter.

The warmer side of the bay

Grzybowo Bay is known for its gently sloping shoreline and favourable microclimate. The water is warmer here than along many other parts of the Baltic Sea, and the waves are small, creating comfortable swimming conditions. The prestigious Blue Flag certification, awarded to Grzybowo’s bathing beach every year, confirms the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

More attractions within easy reach

Kołobrzeg is one of the most popular resorts on the Baltic Sea, combining the character of a spa town with a lively harbour and entertainment scene. The town centre and its many attractions are only a few minutes away by car. At Baltic Season SPA Apartments, you have access to all of this while retaining the peace and tranquillity of nature offered by Grzybowo.

Iconic pier (14 min by car)

A must-see on the Kołobrzeg map, open to walkers all year round. The wide pier extends out into the sea, offering views of the coastline and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. In the evenings, atmospheric lighting illuminates the pier, creating the perfect setting for a stroll, while a marina for smaller sightseeing boats is located at its end.

Lighthouse (15 min by car)

This distinctive red-brick structure, built on the foundations of a former fort, is an important landmark on this part of the coast. The lighthouse combines the history of the harbour with impressive views. Its observation deck is reached by 108 steps, but the panorama of the town and sea from a height of 26 metres makes the climb well worth the effort.

Marina Solna (10 min by car)

A walk along the modern yacht marina is an opportunity to see vessels from around the world up close and soak up the sailing atmosphere. In summer, the marina comes alive with sporting events and the Port Chillout Zone. Nearby stands the historic Morast Redoubt – an 18th-century structure that now hosts concerts and outdoor events.

A sea adventure (15 min by car)

Boat trips from Kołobrzeg’s passenger harbour are a wonderful way to escape the city bustle and enjoy a maritime adventure. Choose a short cruise aboard a vessel styled as a torpedo boat or a longer voyage towards the Danish island of Bornholm. The sound of the waves, the sea breeze and views of the coast from the deck are the perfect complement to a Baltic seaside stay.

Pomerania Fun Park (20 min by car)

This unique amusement park offers great fun for both children and adults all year round. Visitors can enjoy numerous rides in the funfair area, a water world, a mini zoo, a huge playground with inflatables and many other attractions for younger guests. It is a true paradise for children and the perfect place for an exciting family day. A special discount code for admission tickets is available to Baltic Season guests.
